Raspberry Daiquiri Recipe

Frozen raspberries are always available, always reliable. Take them out of the freezer about 15 minutes before you make this drink.

2 cups ice
½ cup raspberries, semifrozen
3 ounces white rum
2 ounces raspberry liqueur (such as Chambord or crème de framboise)
Juice of 2 limes
1 tablespoon superfine sugar

1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
2. Cover and pulse on and off until the mixture starts to swirl evenly.
3. Blend on high for 20 seconds, or until the drink is completely smooth.

Chocolate Raspberry Daiquiri Omit the raspberry liqueur. Add 2 ounces white crème de cacao before blending.
Hazelnut Raspberry Daiquiri Omit the raspberry liqueur. Add 2 ounces hazelnut liqueur (such as Frangelico) before blending.
Honey Raspberry Daiquiri Omit the sugar. Add 1 teaspoon honey and ½ ounce honey liqueur (such as Bärenjäger) before blending.
Lemon Raspberry Daiquiri Use lemon juice instead of lime juice. Add 1 ounce lemon liqueur (such as Limoncello) before blending.
Peachy Raspberry Daiquiri Omit the raspberry liqueur. Add 2 ounces peach schnapps before blending.
