Chocolate Almond Oh Joy Recipe

A candy bar in a glass. Yum!

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Vanilla Ice Cream
1/4 cup Milk
2 ounces Sweetened Cream of Coconut
1 1/2 ounces Almond Liqueur (such as Amaretto)
1 1/2 ounces Vodka
2 tablespoons Chocolate Fudge Topping (or Chocolate Syrup)

METHOD:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
2. Cover and pulse on and off until the mixture starts to swirl evenly.
3. Blend on high for 20 seconds, or until the drink is completely smooth.

Variations

Banana Chocolate Almond Oh Joy – Omit the almond liqueur. Add 1 ½ ounces crème de banane before blending.
Mocha Almond Oh Joy – Omit the vanilla ice cream and almond liqueur. Add 1 cup coffee ice cream and 1 ½ ounces coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa) before blending.
Raspberry Chocolate Almond Oh Joy – Omit the almond liqueur. Add 1 1/2 ounces raspberry liqueur (such as Chambord or crème de framboise) before blending.
Chocolate Almond Candy Bar Smoothie – Omit the almond liqueur and vodka. Increase the milk to 1/3 cup and add 1 ounce almond flavored syrup before blending.
