The motor racing world always drinks champagne, especially in Monte Carlo, and this well-laced cocktail is definitely a formula 1 special.
INGREDIENT:
½ measure gin
¼ measure lemon juice
Ice
Champagne or sparkling white wine, chilled
¼ measure crème de menthe
Mint leaf, to decorate
METHOD:
1. Stir the first two ingredients over ice until well chilled.
2. Strain into chilled flutes and top up with champagne.
3. Finally drizzle the crème de menthe over the top and dress with a mint leaf.
