The cobbler was popular in Dickens time, when it was a concoction of sherry, sugar, lemon and ice. This version has much more kick and lots more bubbles.
INGREDIENT:
1 glass champagne, chilled
¼ measure Curacao
1 tsp syrup de gomme
Ice
Raspberry and soft fruit slices, to decorate
METHOD:
1. Mix the champagne, Curacao and syrup in a chilled mixing glass.
Pour into a tall glass filled with ice and simply dress with pieces of fresh fruit slices.
