The classic champagne cocktail can be too sweet for some. It is the brandy that gives the treat and the kick, so you could leave out the sugar!
INGREDIENT:
1 sugar cube
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 measure brandy
Champagne, chilled
METHOD:
1. Place the sugar cubes with the drops of bitters in the base of a chilled flute.
2. Pour on the brandy and top up slowly with champagne.
