White tequila is most commonly used for mixing cocktails, but some require the mellower flavor of the amber-colored, aged tequilas, which are known as golden tequila or anejo.

INGREDIENT:

5-6 cracked ice cubes

3 measures golden tequila

1 tsp grenadine

1 tsp vanilla essence

1 measure single cream

1 egg white

Ground cinnamon,

Cocktail cherry, to decorate

METHOD:

1. Put the cracked ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2. Pour the tequila, grenadine, vanilla and cream over the ice and add the egg white. Shake vigorously until a frost forms.

3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Sprinkle with cinnamon and decorate with a cocktail cherry.
