Golden rum has a mellow, slightly milder taste, but you could use dark rum here for a really stormy mix.
INGREDIENT:
2 measures mount gay rum
1 measure lime juice
½ measure sugar syrup
Ice
Ginger beer, to top up
Twist of lime, to decorate
METHOD:
1. Shake the first three ingredients over ice until well frosted.
2. Strain into a chilled highball glass and top up with ginger beer to taste.
3. Dress with a twist of lime.
