Amaretto is an Italian liqueur, so perhaps the inspiration for this cocktail comes from Don Corleone, the eponymous character in Mario Puzo’s bestselling novel, unforgettably portrayed in the film by Marlon Bando.
INGREDIENT:
4-6 cracked ice cubes
2 measures Scotch whiskey
1 measure amaretto
METHOD:
1. Fill a chilled highball glass with cracked ice cubes. Pour in the whiskey and amaretto and stir to mix.
