This aristocratic cocktail was created by count Negroni at the bar Giacosa in Florence, although since then, the proportions of gin to Campari have altered.
INGREDIENT:
4-6 cracked ice cubes
1 measure campari
1 measure gin
½ measure sweet vermouth
Twist of orange peel, to decorate.
METHOD:
1. Put the cracked ice cubes into a mixing glass.
2. Pour the campari, gin and vermouth over the ice, stir well to mix.
3. Strain into a chilled glass and decorate with the orange twist.
