A refreshing and classic Middle Eastern salad.
Oranges – 3 to 4, sliced, juices reserved
Red Onions – 2, medium, sliced
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tblsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Mint Leaves – 2 tsp + extra for garnish
Olive Oil – 3 tblsp
Salt as per taste
Black Olives – few
1. Arrange the oranges and onions in a layer in a plate.
2. Sprinkle cumin seeds, black pepper powder, mint leaves, olive oil and salt.
3. Pour the reserved juice and keep aside for 2 hours.
4. Garnish with the mint leaves and olives.
5. Serve at once.
