Ingredients:
Bengal Gram Dal – 4 tblsp
Toor Dal – 4 tblsp
Coconut – 4 tblsp, grated
Dry Red Chillies – 8
Garlic – 2 cloves
Tamarind – a small ball
Oil – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Dry roast the dals until golden and remove.
2. Add oil to the pan.
3. Fry the coconut, red chillies, tamarind and garlic for a minute.
4. Combine all ingredients and add a little water.
5. Grind to a thick paste.
6. Serve with rice.
