Puri-Aamras Recipe

Aamras
Ingredients:


Mango fruit pulp – 2 cups

Whole milk or Half & Half milk – 4 cups

Sugar – 1 cup (according to taste)

Elaichi powder / Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp (optional)

Method

Blend the above ingredients.
Make a puree.
Refrigerate it OR Can be served as it is.

Serve with Puri.

Ingedients


Wheat Flour – 2 cups

Oil – 1 tsp + to deep fry

Salt to taste

Method

Add wheat flour, oil & salt in a bowl.
Add warm water to the wheat flour to form a firm dough, and knead till smooth

Cover keep aside for about 15minutes, and knead again

Divide into small balls and roll out into round shape

Heat oil in a wok.
Fry the puri one at a time, holding them under the oil on the first side until they puff.
Turn and fry till light brown, drain. Serve as soon as possible

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
