Roasted Gram Kozhukattai Recipe

Roasted Gram
Ingredients:
Maida – 200 gms
Roasted Gram – 100 gms
Jaggery – 1 cup, powdered
Coconut – 1 cup, grated
Cardamom Powder – little
Oil as required

Method:
1. Grind together the roasted gram, coconut and jaggery without adding water.
2. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
3. Add enough water to maida and knead well to a chapati dough consistency.
4. Make small balls and roll them out into small chapatis.
5. Place a spoonful of the roasted gram-jaggery mixture and shape them into kozhukattais of desired shapes.
6. Heat oil in a frying pan.
7. Fry the prepared kozhukattais and remove.
8. Serve.
