Fried Idli
Ingredients:
Idlis – 3, chopped
Onions – 2
Tomatoes – 2
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Garlic – 4 cloves
Jaggery – little
Mint Leaves – 1 cup, chopped
Coriander Leaves – 1 cup, chopped
Red Chilli Powder — 1 tblsp
Sambar Powder – 1 tblsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tblsp
Oil as required

Method:
1. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
2. Fry the idli pieces till crisp and remove.
3. Combine the onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, mint leaves and coriander leaves.
4. Grind them to a smooth paste.
5. Heat little oil in a pan.
6. Add salt and red chilli powder.
7. After 15 seconds add the ground paste and jaggery.
8. Mix well and add a little water.
9. Cook for a minute.
10. Add sambar powder and garam masala powder.
11. Pour this over the fried idlis and mix well until each idli piece is coated with the masala.
12. Garnish with coriander leaves.
13. Serve.
