Come fly away with this high-octane drink, a traditional approach with nontraditional spirits. Call it Mexican firewater meets Kentucky hooch – it’s guaranteed to see you through any jet lag.

Ingredients:

  • Mezcal – 1 ounce
  • Bourbon – 1 ounce
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • A pinch of superfine Sugar

Method:

  1. Pour the ingredients into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Serve.
