Kara Roti Recipe

Ingredients:
* flour mix - 2 cups
* dry coconut powder - 3 tbsp
* red chilli power -1/2 tsp
* poppy seeds - 2 tsp
* onions - 2 (finely chopped)
* coriander leaves (finely chopped)
* salt to taste
 
Method:
For Flour Mix:
Soak rice for 15 mins.
Drain water and dry them in shade for two days and give it to the flour mill.
Add 1 part of fried gram dhal to the said 4 part of rice and give it to the flour mill.
This flour can be kept for two months and need not to be refrigerated.

For Preparation:
Mix all the above ingredients with warm water and make a soft dough.
Kneed throughly to make it furthersoft and keep aside.
Flatten roti a little thick on a greezed plastic sheet.
Heat tawa and keep it in medium flame.
Spread 1/2 a tsp oil and put the flattened roti on tawa.
Turn it other side after little brown spots appear and cook the other side with little oil.
Kara roti is ready.
Serve with coconut garlic chutney.
