Mysore Pak Recipe
Ingredients:
Bengal Gram Flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 2 1/2 cups
Ghee - 2 cups
Method:
1. Roast bengal gram flour with some ghee.
2. Put sugar in a pan, add water and heat in moderate flame.
3. Keep stirring.
4. Prepare sugar syrup of thick consistency.
5. Add roasted bengal gram flour gradually in sugar syrup and ensure no lumps are formed.
6. Continue to stir and pour ghee in regular intervals.
7. When the ghee begins to separate, spread the mixture on a greased plate.
8. Cut mysore pak into diamond shaped pieces.
