Ingredients:
Fish Steaks - 750 gms, cleaned
Plain Flour - 1 tblsp
Oil - 1 tblsp
Black Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Dried Red Chillies - 3, large, deseeded and chopped
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Paneer - 500 gms, cubed
Salt as per taste
Coriander Leaves - 1 tblsp, chopped, to garnish

For Marinade:
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Lime Juice - 2 tblsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Mix the marinade ingredients and rub into fish.
2. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
3. Mix flour with water until it forms a thick smooth batter.
4. Heat oil in a flat pan over medium heat.
5. Add mustard seeds and red chillies.
6. When mustard seeds start to splutter, take pan off heat and slowly add 2 cups of water.
7. Add all the powdered spices and sugar.
8. Place pan on low heat and let the gravy simmer.
9. Add the marinated fish.
10. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
11. Add paneer and the batter.
12. Stir gently.
13. Cook for 5 minutes till gravy is very thick.
14. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
15. Serve hot.
