Ginger Jeera Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:
Ginger - 50 gms, peeled and chopped into very small pieces
Jeera - 50 gms
Lemon - 6 to 7
Sugar - 5 cups
Lemon Yellow Colour - little
Sodium Benzoate - little

Method:
1. Soak the jeera in 1/2 cup of water for 1 to 2 hours.
2. Grind the jeera and ginger with 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water.
3. Filter it through a sieve.
4. Add sugar to this filtered water and heat till boiling.
5. Add a few drops of lemon juice and remove the impurities that float to the top.
6. Allow the syrup to cool.
7. Filter it and add lemon yellow colour and sodium benzoate.
8. Transfer it to bottles.
9. To serve, mix 1 part ginger syrup with 3 parts cold water.

though the recipe is easy and good but it can be much better with little more efforts!!!
