Ingredients:
Long Green Beans - 250 gms, trimmed and finely chopped
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Jaggery - 3/4 tsp, powdered
Curry Leaves - 2 sprigs
Coconut - 1/2 cup, grated
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Dried Red Chillies - 2
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Method:
1. Grind the coconut, mustard seeds, dried red chillies and cumin seeds to a fine consistency.
2. Place beans in a frying pan over moderate heat.
3. Add 3/4 cup of water, salt and jaggery.
4. Cover pan and cook over high heat for 4 to 5 minutes till beans are tender and water is completely absorbed.
5. Add the ground powder and mix well.
6. Garnish with curry leaves.
7. Serve hot as a side dish.
