Madurai Mutton Sukka Recipe

Ingredients:
Mutton - 1 cup
Roasted Gram Powder - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste - 3 tsp
Curry Leaves - handful
Coconut - 1/2 cup, grated
Turmeric Powder - 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 3 tsp
Ginger - 2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Green Chillies - 4
Red Chillies - 4
Sambar (Small) Onion - 1 cup

Method:
1. In a pressure cooker, add the mutton, ginger, coriander powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves, green chillies and salt.
2. Add 2 glasses of water.
3. Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles in low flame.
4. Heat oil in a pan.
5. Add red chilli powder, curry leaves, green chillies and sambar onions.
6. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Add the grated coconut and the pressure cooked mutton.
8. Let it boil for sometime.
9. Add the roasted gram powder and a little oil.
10. Continue to simmer till it becomes dry.
11. Garnish with courry leaves.
12. Serve hot.
