Oats Pakoda Recipe
Ingredients:
Oats - 100 gms
Spinach - 50 gms, finely chopped
Green Chilli - 1, chopped
Ginger - 1 tsp, minced
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli - 1, broken
Asafoetida Powder - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - few
Oil for frying
Hot Water
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Place oats in a bowl.
2. Pour some hot water into the oats and mix well to make a thick paste of pakoda’s consistency.
3. Grind green chillies and ginger to a fine paste.
4. Add it to the oats mixture.
5. Add remaining ingredients except oil and mix well until well combined.
6. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more water.
7. Heat oil in a kadai, drop spoonfuls of the paste and deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
8. Drain on kitchen paper.
9. Serve hot with chutney.
