Baked Apples Recipe
Ingredients:
Apples - 5, medium
Brown Sugar - 5 tblsp
Granulated Sugar - 5 tblsp
Refined Flour - 1/2 cup
Powdered Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp, grated
Oats - 3/4 cup
Butter - 125 gms
Water - 1/2 cup
Method:
1. Wash the apples.
2. Core them and peel. Cut into thin slices.
3. Arrange the slices in a greased baking dish.
4. Heat the oven to 180C.
5. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
6. Melt the butter and stir it into the mixture.
7. Spread the mixture over the apples.
8. Sprinkle the water evenly over the top.
9. Bake for about 30 minutes.
10. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
