Sprouted Moong Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
Carrot - 1, medium
Cucumber - 1, small
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Green Chilli - 1
Sprouted Moong - 200 gms
Hung Curd - 1/2 cup (or Cream Cheese)
Method:
1. Scrape the carrot.
2. Wash and grate.
3. Peel the cucumber and cut into quarters lengthwise.
4. Scoop out and discard the seeds.
5. Chop the cucumber fine.
6. Sprinkle with salt and place in a separate dish.
7. Chop the green chilli finely.
8. Steam the sprouts for about 5 minutes.
9. Place the sprouts in a salad bowl and add the carrot.
10. Squeeze out the water from the cucumber and mix it into the salad.
11. Add salt if required.
12. Beat the hung curd and add it to the salad, stirring gently so that it is well mixed.
13. Serve.
Note: If you want the salad cold, place it in refrigerator for a few hours.
