Grilled Chicken Drumsticks in Green Herbs Recipe
Ingredients:
Chicken Drumsticks - 1 kg
Butter - 1 cup or more if required
Shahi Jeera - 1 tsp
For Marinade:
Thick Curd - 1/2 cup, beaten till smooth
Garlic - 1 tsp, ground
Ginger - 1 tsp, ground
Onion - 1 tblsp, grated
Capsicum - 1 tblsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tblsp
Mint Leaves - 1 tsp
Green Chillies - 1 tsp,
Salt - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Lime Juice - 1 tblsp
Method:
1. Wash chicken and dry.
2. Make deep cuts in the flesh.
3. Mix all the marinade ingredients to a smooth paste.
4. Apply to chicken and allow it to marinate for 6 to 7 hours.
5. Grill the chicken in a tandoor or barbecue on a charcoal fire for 8 to 10 minutes on either side till done and light brown.
6. Baste with butter while grilling.
7. Arrange on a serving plate.
8. Sprinkle with shahi jeera and serve with naan.
