Vegetable Stir Fry Recipe
Ingredients:
Cabbage - 1/4 kg
Spring Onions - 6
Capsicums - 5
Onion Stem - a bunch
Carrot - 4
Celery - a small bunch, optional
Tomato Ketchup - 2 tblsp
Capsico Sauce - 1 1/2 tsp
Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
White Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Dry Ginger Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Ajinomoto - 1 tsp
Salt as required
Caramelised Sugar - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tblsp
Method:
1. Cut all the vegetables into 1 inch long thin pieces.
2. Immerse sliced carrot in salted boiling water for 2 minutes and then strain.
3. Heat oil.
4. Add onions and fry till it turns transparent.
5. Add carrot, cabbage and capsicum.
6. Fry over high flame with aninomoto.
7. When the vegetables become tender add spring onion stems and sliced celery.
8. Fry for a minute.
9. Add ketchup, capsico sauce, soya sauce, white pepper powder, chilli powder, ginger powder, garam masala and salt.
10. Brown the sugar in a dry pan and add a little water.
11. When it becomes thick remove from fire and add to the masala.
12. Mix well and remove from fire.
13. Serve with sandwiches or use it as a topping for pizzas.
