Lentil Croquettes Recipe
Ingredients:
Lentils - 1 1/2 cups
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Onions - 1/2 cup, chopped
Ginger - 2 tbsp, chopped
Green Coriander - 1 tbsp
Green Chillies - 5
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
1. Soak lentils for 6 hours.
2. Drain and grind coarsely along with cumin seeds.
3. Add onions, ginger, coriander leaves, green chillies and salt.
4. Mix well, divide into equal sized portions and shape into round croquettes/ cutlets.
5. Deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden brown.
6. Serve hot, accompanied by chutney.
