Ingredients:
Drumsticks - 8, cut into 2 1/2 inch pieces
Grind to a smooth paste with little water:
Coconut - 2/3 cup, grated
Green Chillies - 3
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garlic - 3/4 tsp, minced
Ginger - 3/4 tsp, minced
Vegetable Oil - 3 tbsp
Onion - 1, large, sliced
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Method:
1. Pell off the hard outer fibre of the drumsticks.
2. Heat the oil in a pan.
3. Saute the onion till soft.
4. Add the ground spice paste and saute for 1 minute.
5. Add the drumsticks. Stir well.
6. Add 1/2 cup water and salt.
7. Cook covered on low heat until done.
8. Add vinegar and cook for 2 minutes more.
9. Adjust seasoning.
10. Serve hot.
