Ingredients:
Tomato - 1, chopped
Onion - 1, chopped
Garlic Cloves - 3 to 4
Ginger Piece - 1
Dry Red Chillies - 4, deseeded
Cup Curds - 1/2 cup
Cashews - 6 to 7, broken
Oil - 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Dhania Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Pinches of Asafoetida - 3 to 4
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Cinnamon Clove Powder - 3 to 4 pinches
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Grind all ingredients together except oil (use mixer if hand grinder not available).
2. Heat oil, add paste, stir fry till oil separates.
3. Add 1 cup water.
4. Bring to boil.
5. Simmer till thick.
Tip: Grinding ensures a smooth texture.
