Khasta Roti Recipe
Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Flour - 2 1/2 cups
Salt to Taste, Sugar - 2 1/2 tsp
Carom Seeds - 1 tbsp
Water - 1 1/2 cups
Method:
1. Sieve flour.
2. Add salt, sugar and cream seeds.
3. Knead into a hard dough with water.
4. Cover with a moist cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.
5. Divide the dough into 10 balls.
6. Dust and roll into 10 cm roti’s.
7. Prick with a fork evenly.
8. Bake the roti’s in an oven at 175C/350F for 8 to 10 minutes or till light brown in colour.
9. Serve with sabji of choice.
