Pickled Prawns Recipe

Ingredients:
Prawns - 600 gms, medium sized, peeled
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice - 3 tbsp
Mustard Oil for frying
Onion Seeds - ½ tsp
Mustard Seeds - ½ tsp
Fenugreek Seeds - ½ tsp
Whole Red Chillies - 4
Coriander Seeds - a pinch
Onions - 3/4 cup, sliced
Tomatoes - 1/2 cup, chopped
Green Chillies - 1 tsp, chopped
Coriander Powder - a pinch
Red Chilli Powder to taste
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger - 2 tsp, julienned
Green Coriander - 5 tsp, chopped

Method:
1. Mix half the ginger garlic paste, salt and lemon juice.
2. Marinate prawns in this mixture for half an hour.
3. Heat mustard oil in a kadai, add the whole spices and saute.
4. Add onions and saute till transparent.
5. Add tomatoes, green chillies and half the coriander powder.
6. Stir-fry for 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Stir in salt to taste, red chilli, coriander and cumin powders, garam masala and turmeric.
8. Stir-fry for another 5 to 10 minutes.
9. Add prawns and stir fry till cooked.
10. Serve, garnished with ginger and coriander.
