Machhi Kohiwada Recipe

Ingredients:
Fish Fillets - 500gm
Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
White Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 cup
Gram Flour - 1 cup
Cumin Powder - 2 tsp
Chaat Masala - 2 tsp
Garam Masala - 2 tsp
Red Chilli Paste - 2 tbsp
Green Chillies - 2 tsp
Ginger - 2 tsp, chopped
Onions - 1/2 cup, chopped
Water as required
Oil - 1 1/4 cup

Method:
1. Cut the fish fillets into fish fingers.
2. Marinate with lemon juice, salt, white pepper powder and ginger garlic paste.
3. Keep aside for 20 minutes.
4. In a bowl, mix all the other ingredients except oil.
5. Gradually add water to make a batter of coating consistency.
6. Heat the oil in a kadai, dip the marinated fish fingers in the batter and deep fry until crisp and golden brown.
7. Remove, drain excess oil and serve hot.
