Kavanarisi Recipe
Ingredients:
Black Wild Rice - 1 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Green Cardamom - 1/2 tsp, powdered
Ghee - 1 tsp
Fresh Coconut - 1/4 cup, ground
Method:
1. Wash the rice and soak it in water overnight.
2. Cook the rice with 3 cups of water, till soft and mushy.
3. Add sugar, cardamom, ghee and coconut to the rice and mix well.
4. Serve.
