Tandoori Phool Recipe

Ingredients:
Cauliflower - 800 gms, break into florets, washed, dried
Salt to taste
Chaat Masala - 4 tsp
Juice of 2 Lemons
Gram Flour - 4 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Refined Oil for frying and basting
Cucumber - 1, sliced
Tomatoes - 2, cut into wedges

Method:
1. Marinate the florets in a mixture of salt, chaat masala and lemon juice for 30 minutes.
2. Mix gram flour with half cup of water into a smooth batter and lower gently into the hot oil.
3. Fry over a low flame. Remove.
4. Once the florets are cool, cut into pieces.
5. Put on skewers and roast in a tandoor for 5-6 minutes till golden brown or roast in a preheated oven at 140C/275F for 10 minutes.
6. Baste with oil while roasting.
7. Remove from skewers.
8. Serve with cucumber and tomato wedges.
