Rice Flakes Cutlet Recipe
Ingredients:
Rice Flakes (Aval/Poha) - 1 cup
Onion - 1, finely chopped
Potato - 1, boiled and mashed
Carrot - 1, small, finely shredded
Green Peas - 2 tblsp, boiled and mashed
Channa Flour (Besan) - 2 tbsps
Amchur (Mango) Powder - a pinch
Red Chilli Powder to taste
Salt to taste
For Garnish
Coriander leaves - a small bunch, finely chopped
Method:
1. Wash and soak rice flakes in small quantity of water for a few minutes till it becomes soft.
2. Except coriander leaves, mix all the other ingredients well with the softened rice flakes.
3. Divide the mixture into small pieces and flatten each piece into desired shapes.
4. Roast both sides it on a non-stick pan till it's done.
5. If you wish to cook the cutlet on a regular pan, use a few drops of ghee or oil.
6. Sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
7. Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
