Ingredients:
Dates - 50 gms, destined, cut into strips
Raisins - 1 cup, washed, soaked in hot water
Tamarind -3, lemon-sized balls
Jaggery - 1 1/2 cups
Water - 2 cups
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tbsp, roasted, powdered
Ginger Powder - 1 tsp

Method:
1. Soak the tamarind and jaggery in water for 30 minutes.
2. Mash the soaked tamarind well and strain removing all the liquid and pulp.
3. Add salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and ginger powder.
4. Mix well.
5. Add the dates and drained raisins.
6. Mix well.
7. Let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
