Coconut Sweet Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
Raw Rice - 1 cup
Fresh Coconut - 1 cup, grated
Sugar - 1 1/2 cups, powdered
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Saffron - few strands, soaked in warm milk
Kismis - 25 gms
Almonds - 1 tblsp, sliced
Cloves - 3
Ghee - 2 tblsp

Method:
1. Cook rice in enough water until becomes very soft.
2. Spread it on a plate and allow to cool.
3. Mix grated coconut, soaked saffron and powdered sugar to the cooked rice.
4. Mix well.
5. Heat ghee and fry cloves, almond, kismis and cardamom powder.
6. Mix cooked rice to this.
7. As sugar melts, the mixture loosens, stir gently until it thickens.
8. Keep under low flame for 10 minutes until complete moisture evaporates.
9. Remove from fire.
10. Serve hot.
