Vazhakkai Bajji Recipe
Ingredients:
Raw Banana - 1
Channa Dal Flour - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method:
1. Peel the banana and slice into thin, circular pieces.
2. Mix channa dal flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder and required salt in a bowl.
3. Add required water.
4. Prepare thick batter.
5. Dip each slice in the batter so that a thick coating is formed.
6. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry till golden brown.
7. Serve with chutney.
Tip: Similarly potato, brinjal, snake gourd or onion can also be made into bajji.
