Ginger Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients:
Chicken Wings - 10 to 12, skinned
Natural Low-Fat Yogurt - 3/4 cup
Fresh Root Ginger - 1/2 tsp, crushed
Salt - 1 tsp
Tabasco Sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato Ketchup - 1 tblsp
Garlic - 1 tsp, crushed
Lemon Juice - 1 tblsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tblsp, fresh
Oil - 1 tblsp
Onions - 2 medium, sliced
Fresh Root Ginger - 1 tblsp, shredded
Method:
1. Place the chicken wings in a non-metallic bowl. Pour the yogurt into a separate bowl along with the ginger pulp, slat, tabasco sauce, tomato ketchup, garlic pulp, lemon juice and half the fresh coriander leaves. Whisk everything together, then pour the mixture over the chicken wings and stir gently to coat the chicken completely.
2. Heat the oil in a kadai and fry the onions until soft.
3. Pour in the chicken wings and cook over a medium heat stirring occasionally for 10-15 minutes.
4. Add the remaining coriander and the shredded ginger and serve hot.
