Ingredients:
Milk - 3 cups
Sugar - 2 cups + 2 tblsp for smearing on the plate
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Semolina - 1/4 cup
Method:
1. In a heavy bottomed pan, add all the ingredients except 2 tblsp ghee and cook on low heat. Keep stirring constantly till it reaches a thick halwa consistency.
2. In the meantime prepare a serving plate by rubbing 2 tblsp ghee evenly on all sides.
3. Pour the thick mixture on to the buttered plate.
4. While still hot, cut into squares.
5. Cool and serve.

hey,
this mithai seems to be simple and easy except for the consistency bcos always i get bugged up wen thinking of making a milk mithai im not sure of the consistency either i take it away from fire early or after the consistency is passed that stage can u suggest me any tip on how to arrive at the exact consistency pls.Also all the dishes are awesome.
