Ingredients:
Almonds (Badam) – 1 cup
Milk – 2 litres
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Green Cardamoms – 4, crushed
Nutmeg Powder – 1 tsp
Saffron Strands – 1 tsp

Method:
1. Soak the almonds in hot water for 2 hours. Peel them and grind to a fine paste.
2. Boil the milk, stirring frequently till it is reduced to three quarters.
3. Add the almond paste, sugar, crushed cardamoms, nutmeg powder and saffron. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Serve chilled.
