Nava Dhanya Dosa Recipe
Ingredients:
Green gram - 1/4 cup
Black gram - 1/4 cup
Bengal gram - 1/4 cup
Rice (raw) - 1/4 cup
Toor dal - 1/4 cup
Horse gram - 1/4 cup
Soya beans - 1/4 cup
Jawar (White maize) - 1/4 cup
Green chillies - 3
Red chillies - 6
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Grated Coconut - 1 tblsp
Curry leaves - few
Green Coriander - a handful, chopped
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Water as required
Oil for roasting
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Thoroughly rinse and soak the lentils and raw ric in sufficient water for about 5 hours.
2. Grind the soaked dals and rice along with grated coconut, green chillies, red chillies, ginger, curry leaves, asafoetida and salt as required to make a smooth paste.
3. Add chopped coriander leaves.
4. Now pour a spoonful of batter on to the preheated tawa and evenly spread to a thin round.
5. Pour a tsp of ghee or oil all around it and fry till the dosa is well done.
6. Serve with chutney or sambar.
