Spicy Pomfret Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Pomfret, cleaned and cut into slices
1/4 Coconut
4 Green Chillies
1 inch piece of Ginger
4 Garlic flakes
1/2 small bunch of Coriander leaves
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 small ball of Tamarind
1/2 tblsp Cumin seeds, ground
1/2 tblsp Coriander seeds, ground
Salt and Chilli powder to taste
Method:
1. Soak tamarind in 1 1/2 cup hot water for 5 minutes and then squeeze out the juice.
2. Grind the remaining ingredients to a paste and apply paste on the fish.
3. Heat 3 tblsp of oil and fry the fish nicely.
4. Pour in the tamarind water and cook till the gravy is little thick.
5. Serve hot.
