Ingredients:
500 gms Potatoes, diced
2 gms Masala wadis
2 Onions, chopped
2 Tomatoes, pureed
1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Kasuri methi powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
2 Green chillies, slit and deseeded
some Coriander leaves, chopped
100 gms Oil
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the wadis till golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
2. Fry the chopped onions in the same oil, till light brown. Add the ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree and fry till the oil floats on top.
3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and a cup of water. Mix well. Fry for 3 minutes.
4. Add the potatoes, kasuri methi powder and cook them until the potatoes are tender.
5. Add the fried wadis, 2 cups water and cook on slow fire for 5 minutes.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies.
7. Serve hot.
