Safed Gosht Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 kg Mutton
600 ml Curd
1 Lemon
2 tbsp Ghee
Salt to taste
Grind together:
8 green Chillies
6 to 8 cloves of Garlic
1/4 Coconut
1 Onion
1 inch piece of Ginger
1 tbsp Poppy seeds
1 tbsp Bengal gram
1 tbsp Coriander seeds
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
2 inch piece of Cinnamon
4 Cloves
Method:
1. Wash and cut mutton into cubes.
2. Cook meat pieces in salt and curd, on low heat until the meat is tender and the moisture has evaporated.
3. Add the ground spices and stir. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes.
4. Add ghee and fry till the meat turns to a reddish brown colour.
5. Add lemon juice and serve hot.
