Chocolate Brownies Recipe

Ingredients:
100 gms flour
2 tbsp Cocoa
1 tsp Baking powder
130 gms Cooking Chocolate, chopped
100 gms Butter
175 gms Fine Sugar
75 gms Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Honey or Syrup
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Chopped Walnuts, to garnish

Method:
1. Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder together.
2. Place the chocolate, butter, sugar, brown sugar and honey/syrup in a heavy bottomed saucepan and heat gently, stirring until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
3. Remove the pan from the stove, allow the mixture to cool completely, beat in the eggs and vanilla, then whisk the mixture very well.
4. Carefully fold the flour into the chocolate mixture, using a wooden spatula.
5. Spoon the brownie batter into a square tin that has been greased and lined with a double layer of butter paper. Garnish with walnuts, bake for about 30 minutes in a preheated moderate oven at 180C/350F, until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares.
