Mixed Vegetable Recipe
Ingredients:
Cauliflower - 1 cup, chopped
Potato - 1/2 cup, chopped
Tomato - 1/2 cup, chopped
Green beans - 1/4 cup, chopped
Green peas - 1/2 cup
Carrot - 1/4 cup, chopped
Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nut paste - 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Fry onions in 2 tbsp oil till golden.
2. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for 1 minute on low heat.
3. Add chopped vegetables, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and 1 cup water and simmer covered for 10 minutes.
4. When all the vegetables are cooked, add cashew nut paste and stir gently.
5. Add chopped coriander. Sprinkle with garam masala.
6. Serve hot.
