Bread Pakora Recipe
Ingredients:
Bread slices - 4, cut into rectangles
Chick pea flour - 1 cup
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Green chutney - 2 tbsp
Water for batter
Oil for frying
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Mix flours, salt, chilli powder, baking powder and cumin seeds in a deep bowl.
2. Make a smooth thick batter with water.
3. Heat oil in a deep pan.
4. Apply 1/4 tsp chutney on one side of the bread slice.
5. Dip in batter and fry till crisp. Cook on medium heat.
6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
