Ingredients:
Self raising flour - 250 gms
Cold assam tea - 125 ml
Candied peel - 125 gms
Butter - 25 gms
Caster sugar - 25 gms
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Method:
1. Blend the flour, salt and sugar thoroughly in a bowl.
2. Mix the tea, butter and candied peel to the flour and knead into a soft dough.
3. Shape into a round on a greased and floured baking sheet.
4. Mark into 8 triangles with a knife and bake for 20 minutes at 375F or 190C until crisp and golden and then break into triangles.
5. Serve warm with butter.
