Shahi Tukda Recipe
Ingredients:
Bread slices - 2
Oil - 250 ml
Sugar syrup - 300 ml
Milk - 250 ml
Rabri - 250 ml
Chopped pistachio - 2 tsp
Raisins - 2 tsp
Chopped almonds - 2 tsp
Chopped cashew nuts - 1 tsp
Golden varak - 1 to 2
Method:
1. Cut the bread slices into triangular pices.
2. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the slices.
3. Now soak the slices in the sugar syrup.
4. Boil the milk till it reduces to a quarter.
5. Soak the slices into the milk now and keep till all the milk is soaked.
6. Place in a serving dish and then put the rabri on top.
7. Garnish with pistachio, raisins, almonds and cashew nuts.
8. Decorate with the golden varak.
